well, today, i shall blog on yesterday's events (cos more interesting mah..)
yesterday, was the last day of nats. we managed to catch darryl and amanda yang's amazing exhibition ( omg, they both landed their double axels!! ahh!!!). well, at least they skated quite cleanly without major errors... i managed to get amanda's autograph, but didnt dare to ask darryl =s oh well, nvm.... after closing ceremonies at 2pm, we all packed up and went home...i managed to catch some shut-eye, but i kinda over-slept a little, so wil and dan waited for me under my block. after which we walked to bb mrt [i was on high heels!!], met con, debbie and alex at je mrt. then we all took to novena and met theodore and xiao feng. then we took a cab down to quality hotel. the banquet room was a little small, but im not complaining (: we had buffet and all of us took red wine. alex tried to make his wine glass float by tying alot of helium balloons, but in the end he had to empty the glass to make it float. the kids were forever crowding ard our table cos of dan, alex and con. haha. then after our fill, we drank and started singing. then all the kids came ard and sang with us (: played some games, wil and dan went to get tiger beer...lol.... suddenly i realised i cant really hold my liquor well...which reminds me i need to train myself up for that =x
then they had an auction, but we didnt bid for anything. b4 we left, wil,dan,alex, con and i tried to sing au lang sye[ i dunnoe how to spell] in remembrance for dr alan blinn, but...er.... lets just say it didn't really go well........ hahax.... after that we took group fotos outside the ballroom and then we walked all the way to novena mrt. there, we parted with con,deb,theodore and xiao feng. the 3 of us then took the mrt back to bb, took 941 [ dan was sleeping over at wil's hse] and said bye bye!!
lets just say, yesterday i felt more bonded to the ISAN pple as well as the skaters there...i had a great time ((: and, well, im not sure if its the wine, but my heart was beating v fast when u sang that ncc song with everyone else, somehow, i hope it comes true (: happy 4th anniversary (and 40 more to come ) =D.
